The opening ceremony of the "Youth Tourism Week," held from April 21 to 24 at the “Oydin Plaza” hotel in Namangan city, took place with great enthusiasm. The event was opened by Botir Nuritdinov, Deputy Governor of the region and Head of the Regional Tourism Department. During the meeting, information was provided about the initiatives put forward by the President, their promotion among the youth, as well as new decisions and opportunities in the field of tourism. An open dialogue was held with young people, where their suggestions and initiatives were heard. In particular, the youth voiced their proposals regarding increasing the tourism potential of the region, developing road and transport infrastructure, expanding camping and tourist zones in mountainous areas, promoting tourist attractions across the region, and implementing a QR-code based system for tourism complexes. The leaders carefully listened to the active youth's proposals, paid special attention to each issue, and developed appropriate solutions to eliminate the existing problems.

Spring has unveiled its most beautiful season in Namangan Region. The foothills and slopes of Uychi, Uchqo‘rg‘on, Kosonsoy, and Chortoq districts are adorned with blooming tulips. These areas, bordering the Kyrgyz Republic, have seen significant development in eco and agro-tourism. Every April, the hillsides burst into color as tulips bloom, creating picturesque landscapes. This year, following ample rainfall, the tulips have flourished abundantly, offering visitors a unique and delightful experience. During this season, thousands of tourists not only from our region but also from neighboring republics and provinces visit these scenic spots. This influx significantly contributes to the expansion of domestic tourism in our region.
The meeting titled "The Leader and the Youth", organized by the Namangan Regional Tourism Department, was of great significance. During the event, students studying tourism at higher educational institutions in the Namangan region shared their views on the ongoing reforms in the tourism sector and the future prospects of tourism in the region. Throughout the meeting, young participants proposed several innovative ideas for developing tourism. It was also emphasized that new strategies need to be developed to further enhance tourism and promote the Namangan region on the international stage. In addition, suggestions were made to form volunteer groups and create convenient conditions for tourists visiting the 64th Namangan International Flower Festival. Such meetings play an important role in creating new opportunities for youth, promoting innovation in the tourism sector, and improving the region’s tourism infrastructure.
As part of preparations for the 64th International Flower Festival to be held in the city of Namangan, a special task force has been established to ensure high-quality services for both local and foreign tourists. Members of the task force inspected the existing conditions at hotels operating in the Davlatabad district, including “Atour,” “S-Namangan,” “Istiqlol,” and “Buyuk Ipak Yo‘li.” During the monitoring process, the infrastructure of the hotels, quality of service, compliance with hygiene standards, and the level of customer convenience were thoroughly examined. Based on the identified issues, specific recommendations were developed, and prompt measures were determined to address them. Additionally, relevant instructions were given to implement modern approaches in tourist services, improve service quality, and create a comfortable and safe environment for festival participants. To ensure high satisfaction among visitors and the successful hosting of the festival, continuous control and monitoring activities will be carried out in cooperation with relevant agencies.
